Codiaeum Croton Variegatum Petra Plant
Per piece
Euphorbiaceae
Southern Asia
The croton "Petra" is an evergreen tropical . . The foliage of 'Petra' is broadly oval with a pointed tip with colors which vary between pink, red, orange, yellow, and green with the veins often times being a lighter color. The star-shaped flowers are produced on long stalks but are insignificant.
Crotons grow best in well-drained soil and in full sun to partial shade. Too much sun will bleach the color out of the leaves and too little will cause the leaves to be more green.
Place your croton where it will receive six to eight hours of bright, unfiltered sunlight each day. Provide shade from direct summer sun during the hottest part of the day.
Keep leaves dust-free and shiny by wiping them with a damp cloth. Dry air and soil will cause croton leaves to fall off.
