Description
Pustoplodny Rhipsalis is a epiphytic cactus with slender, jointed, hangs stems up to 3 m in length, the individual segments up to 10-50 cm. Joints have a large woolly composite areole with short bristles at tips of branches from which the flowers and succeeding cladodes arise, the minuscle white spots visible on these stems are, technically, typical cactus areoles minus the spines. Environment
Rhipsalis does not thrive in direct sunlight. Exposure to afternoon sun can burn the leaves, turn them yellow, or lead to spotting. However, without sufficient sunlight, they will not bloom, and its growth can be stunted. Rhipsalis does best with morning sun and full shade in the afternoon
