Description 

Thyme is an evergreen herb with culinary, medicinal, and ornamental uses. The thyme plant is a versatile and lovely plant to grow both in an herb garden and in your garden in general.

Thyme is used as condiment in various cooking dishes due to its aromatic flavour which blends with the dish. It is usually added to flavour savoury soups, meat and stews

Environment

Growing Thyme is easy. Give it plenty of sun, moderately good soil and regular water, and as long as it™s warm, basil thrives. It needs good drainage and abundant organic matter to thrive.

Basil  growing indoors requires at least six hours of sunlight. Basil plants should be placed in a sunny window, preferably facing south. Otherwise, these potted plants may need to be grown under fluorescent lights. 

The plant  is not tolerant of water stress, make sure pots provide adequate drainage. While the soil should be kept somewhat moist, it should never be soggy; otherwise, the roots will be prone to rotting.
